Can I give zero stars? Refuse to pay their debts
Can I give zero stars? TERRIBLE products, broken, took four months to get refund. Then got chased by FedEx and debt collectors for them not paying the tax, they refuse to resolve, causing me mental health issues during my pregnancy. STAY AWAY FROM THEIR INCOMPETANCY!
Awfully disorganized and inadequate customer service
I wouldn't trust this website. I ordered some shelving for a birthday present and the company created a label to ship it, then somehow lost the package. When I noticed that there were no tracking updates after a few weeks, I checked with Finnish Design, they said that it's possible the wrong company picked up the package and that they would check with their warehouse. No one got back to me. I had to reach back out again and the next time, they admitted that the package had been lost and they needed to create a new order. The customer service rep whom I had spoken to recently didn't even do that when he/she realized that the package had been lost, then they went on vacation. Now I'm stuck with no gift for my significant other.

I was really worried, after reading so many bad experiences all over the internet. But everything came out excellent with my order. Delivery through UPS was fast, I must underline I'm having no troubles with UPS in my area overall. The package contained a big paper box filled with heavy and strong bubbly plastic filling, another paper box filled with the same inside, and only under that all the original package with my beloved Ferm Living plant pot, quite fragile pottery. So, the unwrapping was like Christmas and the great product made me really happy. Thank you!

International Buyer Beware.
Finnish Design Shop used to be one of the best sources of products for homeowners and designers. Well, not anymore… The level of customer service is now so horrible that I will not considered buying from them again.
PS, if you are an international buyer looking to buy some products online from there website, just runaway…

Opportunistic business, cannot be trusted
The Finnishdesignshop cannot be trusted. Their website uses dark design patterns, inaccurate estimates and false promises - all in order to trick you into placing an order.
My first order with Finnishdesignshop went smoothly. But the second, more expensive one, turned as bad as it can be.
On June 30 I was about to place an order with a given delivery estimate of July 4.
On checkout however this "July 4" had disappeared completely. The nearest delivery date was July 5 and even that had to be paid for an extra 753€ (!)
Ok, I chose a free delivery on July 11 in order to save money.
Now, guess what? It is July 14th.
No sign of delivery, no communication.
The Finnishdesignshop still showing my order with estimated delivery for July 11, which is long overdue, while direct tracking with TNT estimating my delivery for July 28.
July 28 (if it happens at all) seems like a bit of a stretch from July 4 promised on the website initially. That's clearly not the service I was paying for.
I believe the attitude and poor business practices of Finnishdesignshop need to punished, so in the following days I am going to invest significant effort to bring it to the attention of the relevant regulators in EU and Finland.

They won’t respond to damage upon arrival claim
Customers leaving bad reviews are very right. I regret not listening to the bad reviews before ordering from this horrible company. It’s been 3 weeks since I submitted photos of my items that arrived damaged. Absolutely no answer, no update from their customer service. I spent THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS on my order and absolutely no one is answering my dozen of messages. It is an absolutely stressful and horrible experience. Please save yourself from troubles and spend your money elsewhere, from a company that respect their customers. Their 30 days return/exchange policy is a LIE, even from damaged items on delivery. This shop will only ghost you.
Edit: after leaving my review they responded and sent me the replacement items.

Love my lamp! Beautiful online store, quick delivery and customer support were very helpful when I had questions about invoices and delivery times. Would buy again!

HORRID CUSTOMER SERVICE. Good luck getting any help with an order. My item never arrived and they have completely ignored me and done absolutely nothing to rectify the situation. They will instead respond here with a completely useless generic response and do absolutely nothing. Perhaps they should respond directly to their customers and resolve the issues vs responding on here. Stay away and deal with a US company.

Really disappointed
I received a damaged Panton chair, sent photos of both the chair and packaging as requested, a week has gone by and no response. That’s so disappointing and unnecessary. Why not just sort it out promptly and avoid irate customer reviews? I would not recommend this company, it’s not until something goes wrong you realise that the many poor reviews are deserved and it’s just not worth the time and hassle.
